The Base pattern for this kigu was drafted by Ladykanasewing (find her on facebook under: www.facebook.com/arekucosplay) she also was wonderful and surged all of the edges of the base pattern. This made construction go a good two days faster since I wasn't trying to hem and seam anything.
I spent a week cutting and stitching down the effects. I opted for top stitching since it was faster and I wasn't happy with my sample with satin stitching.

This was based off of the design by weeaboowarehouse.com I fudged with it in places with things that worked better for my time frame.
Total cost of costume: About $40, I was pretty good about getting fabric on sale, but I hated myself and made it out of fleece.
